Hi there,

As far as religion is concerned, it has nothing to do with level of
sports in Oman or other countries. The religion always encourages to
have some kinds of sports to get a healthier and better life. Rashid has
mentioned some in his email. The only point is that the different
activities must be balanced and well organized. I mean sports is good
for the health and body including brain, but brain needs knowledge and
skills too. So Islam always asks to well organize those different
activities to get the best from each.

When it is said "better to be a student than a sports-person" in some
societies then it means that there r some reasons like as i mentioned in
my previous email. For example, in Oman. sports is not a good mean of
earning money as it is in Europian or other countries. People have to
get a good job to be able to have a good life in addition to being a
good sports-men. Well, more courage will be gevin to sports as it
becomes a better way of earning money and enjoying hobbies for the
people.

Any comments most welcome!.
