Although I am not working in the field of Oil or Gas, I would like to hear
from others about it. I picked some history of oil discovery from PDO
magazine, which I thought is interesting and good to share. My interest is
the alternatives to oil, i.e. tourism, industry, agriculture..etc. From
agricultural point of view, there is no way for agriculture (including
fisheries) to subsitute for oil income. There is a better chance for
industry and for a lesser degree tourism to support a good living standard
in the country, when oil and gas is depleted. Would love to hear your
opinions on this topic.
