[oman-l] Specialized lists?

Hi,

I agree with Mutarjim that we need more active discussions on the list.
The suggestions discussion topics are also very good.  I also would like
to see a discussion on the Sultanate of Oman Basic Law (what non Omani
Member of the list think about it .. good or bad - what shocked you and
what impressed you)

Mutarjim mentioned "the non-Arab populations of Oman (Dhofaris, Mehris,
Shahees, and the like)" for me I have always thought Dhofaris are
Arabs.  But what makes a person an Arab? Is it a language, ethnic, skin
color or geographic location of Arab States?
