You are to be congratulated on your even-handed approach to the origin
of Sinbad.  Sometimes during the made rush to claim glory we do not
evaluate the facts objectively thereby living on myths rather than
reality.  Are we so starved for noble history and historical
accomplishments that we grab at every straw that appears to boost our
self esteem.  It appears that your approach is designed to examine the
facts and then come to a conclusion.
