[oman-l] Sport in Oman.

I am a Sport Science Consultant and would like to make contact with
anyone who has information regarding Olympic and World Class sport
activities in Oman.

Can anyone guide me as to the relationship between the Islamic Faith
and competitive sport in general.

I ask this question because there seem to be so few top class athletic
successes from Islamic Countries.

I would be grateful for any contacts at all in Oman or from any of the
Gulf States.
