[oman-l] Silence in the list ...

Craig Wallace is right: this list has been very, very silent over the past
four weeks ... but I could detect no technical problems.  Perhaps Internet
chat and other communication forms have become more attractive for the list
members, but I believe the list is still useful, but perhaps less for
discussion than for broadcasting information and questions. This can only
work with many list members So stay tuned ... and ask others to join the
list.

BTW:  the Oman Studies Centre websites have been updated -
http://www.oman.org and http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/oman.
Comments and criticism welcome!
The oman.org domain is no longer accessible from the UAE since all Internet
traffic is channelled through a proxy server as of 2 February 1997. 
Censorship?  If anyone from other countries also cannot reach
http://www.oman.org, please let me know.
