[oman-l] Newly designed page with Oman pictures

I photographed Oman last November during the National Day celebrations, and
am currently researching another feature I plan to do within the next 12
months and would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

The feature will be about the Bedouin tribes in Oman, and how they are
approaching the turn of the millennium.

While I was in Salalah, I saw some photographs in a public building (town
hall?) by a British (I think) photographer at the beginning of the century.
If anyone knows who this photographer is, and how I can see the photographs
again, either on the net or in a book, I would be grateful.

Also any information about the Bedouins, history etc would be helpful.

This is to be a long term sensitively photographed project to be undertaken
