[oman-l] the net?

Hi,

Most people do NOT get direct busines off the net yet. But it is very important to
get ready for this. However, many people DO get information off the net, especially
re Dubai. You need a web precense though, I believe.....something.

We get queries as diverse as employement to selling chickens to Dubai every day.
Nothing re Oman, so it is NOT just the net, it is other factors as well - ie Dubai
has a reputation for trade, Oman does not.

BUT! It is easier to educate ones self about Dubai. I am in the UK, and people who
want to go expat think of Dubai, not Oman....Marketing MArketing, nit just net
marketing, all types.

16 Months is a life time in the scale of the Internet. Again, education.

UAE = 200 Domains
Oman = 16 Domains

The point about the Net is that it cheaply assists in whatever you want to promote,
but does NOT replace all other forms of marketing.

So how do I contact the Omani Goverment? We are more than happy to share our
experience with anyone who might listen...
