Hello all!

While the Mutrah suq is a fantastic place to shop, and Musqat's new
shopping malls offer an international selection of fine goods, I would
want to warn those relocating that Western language books can be very hard
to find in the Gulf.  

While I didn't do much book shopping in Oman, I can testify that there is
no such thing as a cheap paperback book in Bahrain.  

If you are moving there, bring lots of books for those Friday afternoons
when you aren't out enjoying the natural beauty.
