OMAN APPROVES PLAN FOR SALALAH FREE TRADE ZONE
Oman has approved a working plan for the Salalah free trade zone in
coordination with Salalah Port Services and Hillwood Co of the U.S.
Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, Minister of Commerce and Industry, said the
zone would be spread across 600,000 hectares, with construction to start
in first quarter 2002.
