<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Hi everyone,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I've just found this site, it seams all very exciting to me. I moved
<DIV></DIV>&gt;to Oman
<DIV></DIV>&gt;when I was 4 years old (1980ish) and went to Muscat English Speaking
<DIV></DIV>&gt;School.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;My father was an Engineer at Cansult to begin with when with lived
<DIV></DIV>&gt;in
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Mutrah, then later moved to the MOD engineering department, and so
<DIV></DIV>&gt;from then
<DIV></DIV>&gt;on with lived on MAM camp. We left Oman when I was 11 (1988ish) and
<DIV></DIV>&gt;eventually ending up in England. This was a big culture shock for me
<DIV></DIV>&gt;and now
<DIV></DIV>&gt;that I am 25, I am only now realising how much I miss Oman and don't
<DIV></DIV>&gt;feel at
<DIV></DIV>&gt;home in England, especially when the weather is bad. I still haven't
<DIV></DIV>&gt;gotten
<DIV></DIV>&gt;used to the sea being so cold!
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I've heard its changed some since I left, and I've had little to no
<DIV></DIV>&gt;contact
<DIV></DIV>&gt;with anyone I knew when growing up. All I've had to remind me of my
<DIV></DIV>&gt;childhood is to look at photos and go over and over old stories with
<DIV></DIV>&gt;my
<DIV></DIV>&gt;parents and older brother. I know the best idea is to go out on a
<DIV></DIV>&gt;holiday to
<DIV></DIV>&gt;look around and recognise things, somedays I'm desparate to just
<DIV></DIV>&gt;walk and
<DIV></DIV>&gt;look for shells on one of beaches we used to go to.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;What would be ideal though, would be to be able to get incontact
<DIV></DIV>&gt;with people
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I grew up with, or went to school with. So if theres any of you out
<DIV></DIV>&gt;there
<DIV></DIV>&gt;please get in contact!
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;thanks Craig
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
