[Oman-l] Searching a travelling companion

Hi Hi Oman-Fans,

I am searching a travelling companion for the journey(s) to / from Oman.
I will start with my Toyota Landcruiser this autum from germany to drive to
Oman via Turkey and Iran, then by ferry-boat to the UAE. This route takes
around 15-23 days, depending how many sightseeing stops [and maybe
car-breakdowns ;-) ]  there will be. In
Oman (and the Emirates)  I will work till spring, so there will be not much
travelling
together. The way back to germany I would like to travel through Yemen,
Saudi-Arabia, Syria, Jordan and Turkey - this route certainly requires more
time (if not possible: via Iran).
Somebody could join the passage(s) to Oman and / or way back either as a
front-seat passenger or travel with his own car or motocycle. For a
front-seat passenger I could offer the transport of his bicycle.
Some ideas: Front-seat passengers could drive one way together with me
cross-country, stay as long as they like to explore Oman (or the
neighboring countries) or go on travelling somewhere else, for example to
India or by boat to East-Africa (cycling? dhow? flight?). They could fly
home or accompany me way back later in spring. Travelling companions with
their own vehicle could enjoy their time in Arabia or go on travelling to
wherever. They could drive home on their own in winter or later together
with me (we could also meet somewhere else, e.g. in Yemen). There are many
possibilities for fellow passengers.....
