Dear Omar,

A child born in Saudi will NOT be a citizen of that country. In fact, it is
really difficult for anyone to become a citizen nowadays in Saudi. First,
you have to be a Muslim. Second, you got to have the right connections. The
better connections you have, the quicker you become a citizen if you live
there.
I don't think there's a difference between a Saudi National and a Saudi
Citizen.
Blacks in Saudi: have the same rights as all the other Saudis, there is NO
discrimination. BUT, one has a feeling................... You never (or
rarely) see intermarriages between "White" and "Black" people in Saudi.
Fairly much the same applies to Oman. The Omanis from Zanzibar are not
black, some of them possibly mulattos. They are descending from Omanis who
once migrated to Zanzibar.

I have a question that has been bugging me for quite some time. I am an
ethnic
Arab Muslim living in the USA and I have always wondered if a child born in
a
country like Saudi Arabia is automatically a citizen.
If not, what does it take for a person born in Saudi Arabia to get
citizenship
and what is the difference between a Saudi national and a Saudi citizen if
there
is any. Another question is: Since I have noticed that there is a lot of
black
Omanis, I am pretty sure that Oman has always been known as a place for
people
coming from different places like Omanis from Zanzibari descent for example.
My
question is: How integrated are the black Omanis into the society, are they
primarily seen as "immigrants" or do they have their own Omani identity?
What
about black Arabs in countries like Saudi Arabia and
the UAE? I truly appreciate any honest reply on this

Jazakhallah khair
