The Omani authorities have denied such accusation. In fact all the Gulf
states have done the same. There is a US-Omani defence co-operation agreement
and it would be expected that Oman as well as other Gulf states (all close
friends of the US) would be used for support and supplies but not as a launch
pad for US strikes against Afghanistan.
