I am a Muslim for 48 years, studied it with well known scholars both in 
the USA in universities and in centers in the Middle East and I want to 
say that many people here have expressed anti-Islamic thoughts and 
called it Islam, which it is not.

Defending and arraying before us criminals as Muslims, and proclaiming 
them to be Muslims is a crime against Islam, which can not and is not a 
religion of vengence and murder.

In fact, the Pentagon had no warning and no one suspected that such a 
multiple attack could occur, or could be planned. The USA is just as 
fallible as any other country and in many ways more so, because it 
leaves itself more open to such attacks than any other country in the 
world.

I have been a Muslim for 48 years, and I deeply resent being told that 
these murderers of Muslims is popular in my world. Making this 
a "Muslim" issue is deeply and profoundly insulting to Islam and to 
Muslims. Mr. bin Laden has been indicted numerous times before this for 
many crimes, and his organization is avowedly and openly criminal in 
its intent, which is to inflict, by his own words out of his own mouth, 
and written in his own hand, as seen by everyone, harm on innocent 
people solely because of their ethnic and religious affiliation, 
something absolutely and categorically forbidden to Muslims by the 
hadith and by the Quran, and by numerous religious decisions by well 
known scholars throughout the centuries.

It is illegal to publicise the proof of a crime outside the trial, once 
it has been presented to the grand jury. That is a law whose purpose is 
to protect the rights of criminals to a fair and just trial. 
Publication of the proof would make any trial legally impossible. That 
is the law under the common law system in the USA.

Muslims did not do it because to do such a thing would make them not 
Muslims. That is the hadith.
