Secondly does anyone know where he lived in England from 1970-72 and where 
he is buried.

I am writing a book on Oman and would be very interested to fill in some 
gaps.

You could try "Unknown Oman" by Wendell Phillips or "Minister in Oman" by
Neil Innes or "Sultan in Oman" by James Morris.

Sultan Sa'id is buried at the mosque in Woking, England.
